PTA Events
The Powell PTA plans many events throughout the year, from our signature events like Powell Palooza and The Race for Education to smaller events like Chalk the Walk and Spirit Nights You can find all events below!
Race for Education
This annual event isn’t just fun, it powers what makes Powell special and 100% of the proceeds go directly to Powell! Students will walk/jog/run/skip/dance around the outdoor field with music playing, while receiving encouragement from teachers and parents.
Scholastic Book Fair
Reading has a clear and studied benefit for our kids! The PTA hosts a Scholastic book fair in the fall and spring, with the proceeds benefiting our media center. Last year we were able provide almost 300 new books for our media center!
Powell Palooza
Powell Palooza is our annual spring carnival where we celebrate our school community! The spring carnival features activities like games, crafts, music, food, silent auction and fun for the whole family!
Powell Yearbook
The PTA creates the yearbook each year, giving parents the options to place ads, submit pictures and make it a lasting memory. Yearbooks will be distributed at the Yearbook Ice Cream Social in May.
